Marketing Material
They are here and look so awesome. Im so happy that I chose to do UV gloss coating on the front and left the backside without it. Now I need to just get my Brochure for the wedding packages together and I will have everything for the upcoming wedding shows iNickel Photography will be attending.

This makes me sick to my stomach
So I was doing an event this past weekend and this guy told me that his dad was into photography and bought a lens for $100k. Yes $100,000. I first laughed at him because I didn't believe him nor did I know 1 existed. Low and behold someone on a forum I visit often posted this up today.

Beginning Photography Q & A
Okay, so I get emails and private messages almost everyday with people asking various questions about how they should go about getting into photography. So here is some insight for those interested in getting into photography and wanting to see if this is something for you. Please forgive my grammatical errors
Q: What camera should I buy? Nikon or Canon?
A: First, I want to say that you don't need to buy the most expensive camera at first take your time and find out if this is something you want to do. Now when choosing cameras you want to look at Price, Durability, Sensor size and not think so much about megapixels. Megapixels are really a marketing thing for manufactures to make a person feel like the more MP's I have the better the pictures will be, but that is not the case if you are only doing web and small prints. With me being a huge Canon fan and I rarely use Nikon I suggest Canon just for it's large number of lenses for my pleasing. Lastly because technology changes so much I recommend going to www.dpreview.com
Q: What lenses should I purchase?
Well again because I'm a Canon guy I only really know canon lenses so Im going based off of lenses I generally use that I know work. Depending on your budget and camera some may not be suitable for the photography you do.
-Canon 17-40L F4 *Good for wideangle shots like landscape and automotive photography*
-Canon 24-70L F2.8 *Very Very did I mention Very good overall lens. I use this lens on a daily basis for portraits, weddings, cars, club photo's, everything. I highly recommend this lens even tho it can be on the pricey side but is pretty much worth every penny.
-Canon 50mm *This lense is for portraits and thats pretty much it. You can find this lens depending on the the fstop from $95-$400
-Canon 70-200L F2.8 IS * This is a telephoto zoom lens that is good for automotive, nature, and portrait photography. This lens is very good for focusing in low light. Now this lens is not cheap so save your pennies now because it can cost anywhere from $1600-$2000
-Canon 100mm Macro *Macro lenses are traditional for those upclose and detail shots like products, flowers, insects, etc. This lens is more of a novelty lens and you won't use it very much.
Q:What editing Software do you use?
Alright so this is going to sound very newage cliche but, "I'm a MAC guy". For the past 8 years I have been so do not think I am some person that has to be a cool guy persae. Anyways for any new photographer I would highly recommend the following programs and plug ins Adobe Photoshop either CS2,CS3, OR CS4 along with Adobe Lightroom or Aperture. Other than those programs you really don't need anything for editing images. For photoshop plug ins I would recommend Nik Software to anyone that likes to just change colors or even make things look a little different without making it look fake.

I choose raw just because you get all of the colors and no compression.

Widebody Lamborgini Gallardo Goodness
So here is a photoshoot from yesterday I had. Nothing to special with the photography. It was a very bright day and I had no time to shoot the car at sun down so the sun was beating down on this beast. I was bored with how the normal shots looks so I used some photoshop filters for practice.
Specs on the car if anyone ask. Twin Turbo 1000hp Lamborgini Gallardo with 20 Inch Iforged Essen wheels with Textured black centers and lips. The widebody is custom made by DNA and the front, rear, and sides are all also custom made by DNA. Enjoy

Something not very common
So yesterday and today I posted up a few pictures from a recent wedding and also a car photoshoot and I heard some words that made me feel confident and on cloud nine. Normally I post up pictures and I get a few compliments and critique here and there, but recently I have been receiving feedback that makes a person want to work so much more harder and makes you feel good about what you do. I just want to say "Thank You" to everyone that takes the time to view my pictures that I post online and also people that ask for my work for personal use. I don't post much in here. I pretty much just lurk, but when I do speak it tends to be a little cynical. But, Peter, I've seen you post over the years and watched you're growing success. I just wanted you to know that you're a motherfucking inspiration bro. You're doing great things and I just know the future has one of these cars purring in your own garage. Keep up the good work and stay true. You've got a fan over here, not just for your photo skills but your ability to work hard and honest to get where you want to go.

1 of my goals completed
Yep you are reading this correct, I finished a goal of mine. I went to Baja Fish Tacos today after visiting my mom with my Fiance Ronica. When we approached the taco spot I was a little nervous, but I ordered the Blackened fish taco combo and I have to say I loved it.
LP640 Goodness
It isn't often you see a half million dollar car on the street and its very rare to sit in 1 that isn't a showroom car. I was recently blessed with being able to capture a friends newly purschased Lambo LP640. I hope you like because I sure do.

Day 1 of a 2 day wedding
A friend of mine Rezie got married on 3/14 and it was a beautiful wedding held in Orange. Here are some of the pictures of Day 1 the preparation and ceremony. The reception will be held today and I will post some formal pics from the event. Congrats Rezie and Stefanny. Thanks Hubert for the help.
