How my Career Began

So back in Mid 2005 when I was a very amateur photographer I saw a photo contest in Motortrend Magazine which a friend won the year before. Well I decided Im gonna enter. So, like a typical man I procrastinated until the last entry week. I was sitting around with a girl(friend) of mine and I was like F' it Im gonna go get a good shot. So it rained a little before and left water all over the car. Let me remind you it was like 2am. Anyway so I got the shot in 1 take and submitted it to Motortrend because it could not be post processed. A few months later at 6 am I get a call saying that I was selected as the "Motortrend Magazine 2006 Automotive Photographer of the year" and my shot was gonna be published in the December 2005 magazine. I didn't believe them at first because at the time my friends and I were pulling pranks on each other. Everything finally clicked and I jumped for joy because I beat alot of professionals and I also did it with a crappy camera ahhha. So not only did I win and get my photo published I also received a new camera a Canon Digital Rebel XT, which I sold for a 20D.
So the moral of the story is that you don't always need the best equipment you just need to have a best shot, perspective, and imagination.

E-shoot with Kev and Cass

Recently I took photos for Kevin and Cass and we did a more themed shoot for the "Save the Date" post cards. Well we caught up again 3 months before the wedding and did some shots on the beach. We wanted a more candid feel than a posed look. Enjoy! Also let me know what you think by posting your comments.

Stepped my Computer game up...

I finally stepped my game up to another level. I purchased a MacPro 2.8Ghz Quad Core Intel computer recently and I couldn't be happier. I have been editing photos and video on a Mac Mini Single Core which worked, but wasnt making me happy. The computer is equipped with a 320GB Hard drive but again I had to step it up to a internal HD with 750GB's extra.
